Managing & Exporting Areas

Viewing Areas

Show Areas

Toggle user area visibility using the SA/area button in the button bar.

Editing Areas

Access the area list via ☰ Menu → User Area to:

  • Edit an area's name, description, or appearance
  • Delete individual areas
  • Delete all user areas

Exporting

Export user areas for sharing with other pilots or for backup:

  • Proprietary format — JBalloonNav's own format, for sharing between JBalloonNav users
  • GPX format — standard format, compatible with other mapping apps

Show / Hide

You can show or hide all user areas at once using the button bar, or manage visibility per-area from the area list.
