JBalloonNav is an Android moving map and navigation app designed for balloon pilots. It supports both hot air and gas ballooning with offline maps, airspace overlays, flight tracking, wind prediction, and weather integration.

Data Sources & Attribution

• Maps: Based on OpenStreetMap data, rendered with Mapsforge
• Airspace: Provided by OpenAIP — used "as is", may not be identical to current ICAO charts
• Weather forecasts: Powered by Open-Meteo free weather API
• METAR data: Provided by the Aviation Weather Center (NOAA)

Airspace data from OpenAIP is provided for reference only. Always verify airspace boundaries against current official charts (ICAO, national AIP) before flying.
