Map Settings¶
Access via ☰ Menu → Settings.

| Online/Offline | Online, Offline | Offline | Whether to use downloaded offline maps or stream online OpenStreetMap tiles |
| Hardware Acceleration | On / Off | On | Uses device GPU for map rendering. Improves performance on most devices. Disable if you experience visual glitches or crashes |
| Enable Map Rotation | On / Off | Off | Allows two-finger rotation gesture. Experimental — uses additional memory |
| Scale Bar | On / Off | On | Shows a distance scale bar on the map |
Notes¶
- Hardware acceleration should normally be left on. Only disable it if the app crashes or shows visual artefacts on your device.
- Map rotation is experimental and not recommended for low-memory devices. See Performance Tips.
